In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

- COURSE WALK BEFORE THE START OF EACH CLASS
- Teams to consist of 3 or 4 riders with the best three scores to count.
- Each class will be jumped one round as a single phase
- No horse/pony may be ridden more than once in the same class.
- If a full team of 4 one rider can ride two horses/ponies in that team

- Please indicate when entering where more than one family member competing in different classes so where possible we can accommodate timings
There are two classes at 60 cm
- Ring 1 – Class 5
- Ring 2 – Class 1
In Ring 1 the course throughout the day will be designed for the more novice rider. In Ring 2 the course will be of a more technical nature for the more confident riders.
- Safety Rules – Failure to comply with safety rules will result in elimination
- Photographic Rights– Other than parents photographing their own children, no other photographers will be permitted on site other than the official photographer.. Participants and their parents/guardians give permission for any photographs taken by the official photographer at the event to be developed for sale and published on the internet only for the purposes of resale or for Fitzwilliam Hunt Pony Club publicity purposes.
- Hats of all competitors must comply with Pony Club standards and be marked with a tag. They must be worn with chin strap fastened at all times when mounted, with plain black or dark blue covers only. A competitor whose hat comes off his/her head whilst riding in a competition must, on penalty of elimination, replace it before continuing.
- Spurs – may not be worn by a Pony Club member at a Pony Club activity or event unless that member has passed either the Pony Club C+ Riding Test or the Pony Club Spurs Test.
- Age of competitors as at 1 January 2025
- The organisers reserve the right to alter, amend or cancel any class and to refuse any entry for any reason and at their sole discretion.

- Competition is run under the Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2025
Classes 1 and 2 are aimed at riders who are inexperienced at jumping and designed to encourage riders to start competing.
Class 1 – 35cm – Lead Rein (Competitors entered in Class 1 may not enter Class 3)
Class 2 – 35 cm – Assisted but not lead – all competitors must be assisted by 1 adult in the arena. This is verbal assistance only no touching, holding or jumping fences by adult assisting
(Competitors entered in Class 2 may also enter Class 1 OR 3 but not both)

Team Managers to allocate riders into teams and advise by email only to fitzwilliam@pcuk.org by close of entries.
If not advised riders will be allocated to teams.

A mobile number for amendments/withdrawals on the day will be issued with the times.

- Health & Safety – Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.

Entries are only accepted on this basis.
