Fitzwilliam Hunt Pony Club Team and Individual Show Jumping is being organised by Fitzwilliam Hunt Branch of the Pony Club and the booking agent is Equine Bookings
Competition open to all Pony Club and Centre Members. Classes for all abilities from 35cm (leadrein and assisted) to 1 metre.

Full refund up until withdrawal date, after withdrawal date refund only if replaced from the wait list.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

The classes will be split between two arenas – depending on entry numbers – so please be aware that they may not all follow on after each other. For example if the split was between class 6&7 one would be at the start of the competition and one at the end

NOTES

- Please indicate when entering where more than one family member competing in different classes so where possible we can accommodate timings
- Safety Rules – Failure to comply with safety rules will result in elimination
- Photographic Rights– Other than parents photographing their own children, no other photographers will be permitted on site other than the official photographer.. Participants and their parents/guardians give permission for any photographs taken by the official photographer at the event to be developed for sale and published on the internet only for the purposes of resale or for Fitzwilliam Hunt Pony Club publicity purposes.
- Hats of all competitors must comply with Pony Club standards and be marked with a tag. They must be worn with chin strap fastened at all times when mounted, with plain black or dark blue covers only. A competitor whose hat comes off his/her head whilst riding in a competition must, on penalty of elimination, replace it before continuing.
- Age of competitors as at 1 January 2024
- The organisers reserve the right to alter, amend or cancel any class and to refuse any entry for any reason and at their sole discretion.
- The Judges decisions are final

Classes 1 and 2 are aimed at riders who are inexperienced at jumping and designed to encourage riders to start competing.
Class 1 – 35cm – Lead Rein
(Competitors entered in Class 1 may not enter Class 3)
Class 2 – 35 cmAssisted but not lead – all competitors must be assisted by 1 adult in the arena
(Competitors entered in Class 2 may also enter Class 1 OR 3 but not both)
Team Managers to allocate riders into teams and advise by email only to fitzwilliam@pcuk.org by close of entries. If not advised riders will be allocated to teams.Please advise of any rider/horse changes by Thursday 3 October by email to fitzwilliam@pcuk.org.
A mobile number for amendments/withdrawals on the day will be issued with the times.

- Health & Safety – Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
- Legal Liability – Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
