Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes

No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded per class minus an admin fee of £3.00 (Booking fees are non refundable)

Entry information

THIS COMPETITION IS OPEN TO ALL, Pony Club members, non Pony Club members and adults. See rules for each class.

Entry fees:

Please select: Fife Pony Club members – £14 plus non refundable booking fee as stated online per combination in each class or Non Fife Pony Club members and Non PC – £16 plus non refundable booking fee as stated online per combination in each class

if you are a Non PC member please select from the question Pony Club Member? select (NO) all other PC Members select (YES) and this will validate your membership.

A horse/rider combination may compete in a maximum of two consecutive classes. Every horse/rider combination entered will compete once in each class individually and the round will also count towards their team if they have entered in one plus the Sprot Cup points for their Pony Club. Each competitor in every class will jump half the course un-timed and the second half will be timed. They can continue into the second timed phase of their round regardless of their score in the first half (unless eliminated).

Sprot Cup points – A horse/rider combination can only collect points from one jumping class for the Sprot Cup and this class must be nominated prior to competing at the time of entry. The points from the highest placed member only from each Pony Club in each class, will count towards the Sprot Cup. Strictly no changes after the closing date. The Sprot Cup trophy will be presented to The Pony Club gaining the most points on the day.

Sprot Cup Scoring:

1st – 6 points

2nd – 5 points

3rd – 4 points

4th – 3 points

5th – 2 points

6th – 1 point

Stewards will invite competitors into the warm up arena which will be indoor. Numbers will be limited for safety reasons.

Competitors must be ready to compete at their given time.

Medical cover will be provided.

Adrian Sinclair photography will be taking photos throughout the event.

A prize giving will take place in the main arena after each class.

The cafe will be open on the day with a selection of hot and cold food and drinks.

Rules

Pony Club members who require a reasonable adjustment must submit the form to fife@pcuk.org by the closing date.

All hats must be tagged and spurs may only be worn by Pony Club members who have the Pony Club spurs hat tag attached to their hats on the day.

Team information

A team can consist of three or four people with the best three scores to count.

We require a team name when entering.

All teams must be represented by a team manager who will be responsible for the team being ready to compete. No changes after the closing date.

PC Team manager access is available for PC branches to view and assign teams, any help needed doing this please email info@horse-events.co.uk

Entries are only accepted on this basis.
  2. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, every one must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
  3. All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The Fife Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non members and their insurance will not cover you.
