SPRING FESTIVAL RULES:
PC70 – Riders must be aged 13 and under on 1st January 2024. A combination of horse/pony and rider are NOT eligible if they have:
– Completed at PC90 or above at any Spring Festival Championship for Show Jumping or Arena Eventing.
– Previously completed a BS/SJI Competition with a starting height of 90cm or above.
– Previously ever finished 1st to 3rd as an individual in the PC70 Show Jumping or PC70 Arena Eventing Spring Festival Championships on two occasions.

PC80 – A combination of horse/pony and rider are NOT eligible if they have:
– Completed at PC100 level or above in any Spring Festival Show Jumping or Arena Eventing Championship in 2023 or prior years.
– Previously ever finished 1st to 3rd as an individual in the PC80 Show Jumping or PC80 Arena Eventing Spring Festival Championships on two occasions.
– Previously completed a BS/SJI Competition with a starting height of 100cm or above.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded per class minus an admin fee of £2.00 (Booking fees are non refundable)

This event will be run using the Pony Club Spring Festival rules (Show Jumping rules), please familiarise yourself with them. Please note that current Pony Club hat tags must be worn (these will be available at the desk on the day). Spurs hat tags must be worn by any Pony Club members wishing to ride wearing spurs. Hair must be tied back securely, in a safe manner to reduce the risk of hair being caught and to prevent scalp injuries. Competitors are asked to wear competition wear or Pony Club rally attire including Pony Club tie or stock. Ponies do not need to be plaited but as it is a competition we ask they are turned out neatly. Rider and pony combinations may compete in two consecutive classes. Classes 70cm – 1.05m will be single phase with the second section against the clock. Juniors – up to and including 16yrs. PC70 qualifiers, riders must be 13yrs and under on 1st Jan 2024. Seniors 17 yrs and over.
Only batton whips are allowed, no schooling whips.

Fife Pony Club expects competitors and parents/guardians/helpers to treat the competition officials and volunteers with civility and respect. Please also remember that this event has been organised by unpaid volunteers. Anyone who is rude or aggressive towards officials and volunteers will be referred to The PCUK Head Office and may not be allowed to attend Fife Pony Club events in the future. By entering this competition you agree to allow any photos on the day to be used by Fife Pony Club on their social media platforms. Horses and ponies must be vaccinated as per the Pony Club rules 2024. Spot checks of passports may be done. Day and overnight stabling is available, please get in touch with Netherton directly to book.
