Teams to consist of 4 members of any age
Teams of four members aged 10 years or under, and who may be on lead rein. Please note – there is a separate test for the Teeny Weeny teams. Ages to be taken from 1st January 2024

No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel 50% of your entry fee will be refunded, minus any Booking fees.

Entries
• Entries close on Tuesday 10th September
• Entry fee – £60 per team of four
• Entries via Horse Events. All entries are subject to a non-refundable booking fee which will be stated online on a per class basis
• Starting times will be available on from 6pm on Friday 13th September.
• All queries via your Branch DC or their representative to gracemoran@hotmail.co.uk
• If a Branch withdraws a team or individual prior to the closing date, a full refund of entry fees will be made, less an admin fee of £5.00
• Withdrawals after the closing date will not be refunded except on production of a vet or medical certificate. An admin fee of £5.00 will apply.
• In the event of a competition being abandoned, for whatever reason, a refund of 50% of the entry fee will be given.
• Refreshments will be available on the field.
• Toilets are available on site.
Eligibility of competitors and horses/ponies
ALL HORSES/PONIES MUST HAVE UP TO DATE FLU INNOCULATIONS. PASSPORTS WILL BE
CHECKED. Team Managers should check they are up to date before you enter the venue.
• Competitors must be members of their Branch.
• Competitors must never have represented their, or any other Branch, in any Area Open,
Intermediate, Novice Show Jumping, Dressage or Eventing Competition.
• Horses/ponies must be 4 years old or over.
• Horses/ponies to have been regularly ridden at rallies.
• Age to be taken as on 1st January 2024
• Branches may enter as many teams as they like.
• The organisers reserve the right to alter classes according to entries.
Team Managers/DCs are asked to enter genuine novice combinations in the true spirit of this competition.
Both competitions will consist of Turnout, Riding Ability and Handy Pony, and will be judged in three phases with all scores in each phase to count.
Senior Grass Roots Competition – Teams to consist of 4 members, any age but must be current members of the Branch.
Teeny Weeny Grass Roots Competition – Teams of four members aged 10 years or under, and who may be on lead rein. Please note – there is a separate test for the Teeny Weeny teams. Ages to be taken from 1st January 2024.
Turnout: Judged on suitability, safety & cleanliness. Horses & ponies well turned out but not necessarily plaited. Tack as for working rally.
Riding Ability: Senior Teams – Grass Roots Riding Test.
Teeny Weeny Teams – Grass Roots Teeny Weeny Riding Test.

Handy Pony: Includes mounting, dismounting leading in hand etc.
Dress: Pony club sweatshirts, pony club ties, competition jodhpurs, gloves, helmets and correct riding boots. All hats must be tagged.
All horses and ponies must have up-to-date flu inoculations. Passports will be checked. Team Managers should check they are up to date before you enter the venue
Legal Liability
Neither the organisers, nor the Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.
The organiser has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health & safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser and all the officials and stewards.
