Feckenham Horse Show

THIS SHOW IS AFFILIATED TO EQUIFEST THE TWO HIGHEST PLACED HORSE/PONY NOT ALREADY QUALIFIED IN EACH AFFILIATED CLASS WILL QUALIFY FOR THE EQUIFEST CHAMPIONSHIPS 1ST – 4TH AUGUST 2024 HELD AT ARENA UK GRANTHAM,LINCOLNSHIRE NG22 2EF

General Conditions

1. The committee and the landowners accept no responsibility or liability for any accident, damage, injury or illness to any person, animal or property whatsoever arising at or out of this show.

2. Correct riding dress (especially headgear) must be worn at all times while mounted.

3. Objections must be handed to the secretary within 30 minutes of the incident with a £50 deposit. The deposit will be forfeited if the objection is not sustained.

4. The committee reserve the right to alter the rotation and timing of any class, to cancel any class, to refuse entry or to change the judge of any class if necessary.

5. All dogs must be kept on leads at all times.

6. First Aid £2 per competitor.

7. No competitor shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lease, authorised agent or rider to compete in any competition without taking adequate precautions to ensure that other members of the public are not put at risk of injury.

8. All entries on the day are subject to a non-refundable booking fee of £2

THE ANTHONY HACKETT RING A

UNAFFILIATED JUMPING START 9.00 AM

Judges: Mr R Tesh & Mr M Cox

All classes will be single phase, open to horses and ponies. Riders any age. Rosettes to 6th place and super prizes in kind for classes 1-5

RING B

CLEAR ROUND JUMPING – 8.45am ONWARDS

Entries taken at the ringside £3. Rosettes to all clear rounds.

Height of jumps can be adjusted.

RING C

Classes to start at 9.00am

FOLLOWING ON IN RING C – NOT BEFORE 10AM

EQUIFEST WORKING HUNTER PONIES inc M&M AND NURSERY STAKES PONIES

CLASSES 10 – 13 ARE OPEN TO HORSES AND PONIES PLAITED AND M&M over the age of 4.

Riders any age in the M&M classes. Traditional hunting dress. Will be marked on jumping  round (course of rustic fences), style & manners whilst jumping and a short show after the  jump round.

Each class will receive rosettes to 6th place and 1st and 2nd place will go forward to the championship.

THE 2 HIGHEST PLACED PLAITED AND THE 2 HIGHEST PLACED M&M WILL QUALIFY FOR  EQUIFEST IN CLASSES 10,11,12.

RING D

CHILDRENS CLASSES START 9.00AM

RING C Judge: Anabel Bray will not start before 2pm

RING E

DRESSAGE CLASSES START AT 9.30 AM

PRE-ENTRIES ONLY AND TIMES WILL BE GIVEN ON HORSE EVENTS 22nd JUNE

Rosettes to 6th place and £10 prize money to the winners

Riders any age, for horses and ponies any height, tests may be called.

RING F

Class 28 will not start until the Working Hunter Class 9 has  finished. All will be ridden by the judge.

GYMKANA RING

GYMKANA START 2.30pm after the Fancy Dress

RACES TO INCLUDE 

BENDING, FLAG RACE, MUG RACE, SWEET RACE, SOCK AND BUCKET RACE, RIDE AND RUN

A: 5 YEARS AND UNDER LEAD REIN

B: 8 YEARS AND UNDER LEAD REIN

C: 12 YEARS AND UNDER

D: OPEN ANY AGE

Entry £10/block Rosettes to 4th place. Sweets for all and fun prizes to the winners

RING G

HANDY PONY 10am – 2pm

Entries at the ring side £5

Lucky dip for all entries under 12 years old

Rosettes 1st- 6th will be awarded for lead rein, open (unassisted) and in hand

CLASS 35 FANCY DRESS MOUNTED OR UNMOUNTED to assemble in Ring C at 2pm for judging and will parade in front of the marquee afterwards.

Riders any age. Horses and ponies any height

Entry £5 Rosettes to all. Prize money £10 TO THE WINNER AND

LUCKY DIP TO ALL
