Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes

Refund before Withdrawal date in Full (minus any booking fees). After Withdrawal date only if a vet/medical certificate is sent to Horse Events by the date of the event.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND ALL ENTRIES MUST BE MADE THROUGH HORSE EVENTS

Times will be emailed to trainers, posted on Pony Club Results and posted on Eggesford PC web page

There will be catering available at the venue.

The Organisers Reserve The Right to Split Classes 1 & 2 into smaller groups depending on the Number of Entries i.e Age Groups or Boys and Girls.

Team information

TEAM COMPETITION:

Teams can be made up from different classes of the same club, but please can team managers email alison@keenors.co.uk with their team combinations before close of entries.

Team Manager Access is available to view branch entries and assign teams online, if you have not used this before please request team manager access on the booking page

Entrants: if you want to be considered for a team please choose team and leave team name blank when you enter.

Individual Rosettes 1st to 8th in Classes 1-6

Terms and Conditions

RULES:

  • All classes will be judged in accordance with the Pony Club Tetrathlon Rule Book 2024.
  • Bean Bags – Bean Bag Scores will be registered based on the final resting point of the beanbag rather than the point of impact on the target
  • Shoot – Gun code is only relevant if you are sharing a gun and should identify who you are sharing with.
  • Guns must be brought to tables in their boxes and opened only on command of the firing point steward. They must be boxed again before the competitor leaves the firing point. Guns may only be carried by those over 18 years or under the supervision of a person over 21 years.
  • When not in use, guns must be stored in a secure place (i.e., in a vehicle, out of sight). Any breach of safety rules may result in disqualification. Safety flags must be inserted in all pistols at all times except when removal is authorised by the Firing Point Steward. Please ensure competitors are aware that footwear must not cover the ankle (i.e., no boots, ankle boots or hi-top trainers etc.). Long trousers must be worn. Protective or prescription glasses are recommended at all levels and are mandatory for shooting at 7 metres. Any type of sound producing or communication system is prohibited. Sound reducing devices (ear defenders or ear plugs), visors, caps, eye patches, corrective lenses or filter may be worn. Only black coloured, open sights are allowed. All mobile phones and any other type of communication system must be switched off whilst in the range and range environs. This applies to athletes, officials, spectators and all other persons with no exception.
  • Please indicate on the entry of the competitor is left handed.
  • Swim Swimmers using the start blocks must have achieved the level of ASA Competitive Start Award otherwise they must start in the water.
  • Please mark entry form if there is a GENUINE NEED of an outside lane.
  • Beanies will be allowed a floatation device and while we will endeavour to meet all outside lane requests it might not be possible to satisfy them all.
  • Please provide accurate details of swim distance on the entry form
  • Running – The run will be on grass and the runners set off in groups (max 10), appropriate footwear should be used.
  • Any unsporting behaviour or deliberate hindrance of other competitors will result in disqualification.
  • Prior to the event, start times will be provided to allow competitors to have an effective warm-up.
  • Scores will be displayed throughout the day on Pony Club Live Scores
  • Any complaints to be made by Team Managers, to official organisers only.
  • The organisers reserve the right to alter any class or combine classes without prior notice if they feel this is necessary.
  • The judge’s decision will be final.

LEGAL LIABILITY:

Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, the organisers of this event, the pony club, Parklands Leisure Centre, or any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accepts no liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to competitors, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.

Entries are only accepted on this basis.

HEALTH AND SAFETY:

The Organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions

of the Organiser and all Officials and Stewards AT ALL TIMES.
