CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. There will be no secretary’s tent on the competition day. All information you need is on www.ponyclyresults.co.uk For any queries on the day ONLY please ring 078605817751.
2 The organisers reserve the right to refuse any entries. Entry fees are NOT refundable
3. The Pony Club Eventing 2024 Rules will apply throughout. For dress and tack rules see https://pcuk.org/officials/rulebooks/ and look under the individual disciplines.
4. Any outside assistance or interference by anyone other than an OFFICIAL will incur elimination.
5. The Judges’ decision is final; objections should be made by e-mail to the Secretary (eastonharrierscomps@gmail.com) following online publication of the results. No video evidence will be considered under any circumstances.
6. Legal Liability. Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of any event to which these rules apply, nor the Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accept any liability for any accident, loss damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.
7. No horses/ponies under 5 years of age allowed to compete.
8. Health and Safety. Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and
safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
9. Riding hats MUST have a PINK tag (PC, BE or BRC). It is mandatory to wear a protective helmet manufactured to one of the minimum standards . Hats must be worn when mounted, with chin strap fastened at all times. No fixed peaks for XC (see PC Rules 2024).
10. Riders must wear an effective Body Protector meeting BETA 2018 Level 3 Standard (blue and black label) AND sleeves covering shoulders for Cross Country.
11. Hair must be restrained and in a hair net if long. NO HAIR below the collar. No,electronic devices or jewellery allowed.
12. Saddle cloth can be any solid colour. Contrasting piping permitted. Jodhpurs must be cream/beige. No jewellery. Fly hood, nets & ear covers allowed. Ear plugs not permitted
13. Stopwatches allowed for PC90 and above.
14. Horse/Pony may only be entered in one class.
15. No dogs only allowed if on a SHORT lead at all times. Please clear up after your dogs.
16. Passports will not be routinely checked but there may be spot checks on the day, so please make sure you have your horse’s passport with you.
17. Please take all droppings from your lorry area away, along with your rubbish.
