ONLY walk and trot – NO CANTER
This will give riders the opportunity to bring a young horse or a nervous rider out to open spaces without the fear of been overtaken by faster riders.
A ride set in the beautiful Somerset countryside with the kind permission of the Dillington Estate, Whitelackington. The majority of the ride will be off-road or on quiet lanes, including some fields, wood section, bridleways. There is a road crossing but this will be well marshalled and rode well last year. There is a short section of track in a field adjacent to but below the level of the a 303, but this is at the end of the longer route only.
Directions: Parking on grass at the estate – please ensure you follow the what 3 words below. Take the entrance into Dillington Park near Whitelackington end / Stuarts café but take the first fork right and follow the track/ road down and bear right for the parking.

*Hard hats with safety harness and suitable footwear must be worn at all times whilst mounted.
*Additional safety measures will be in place to minimise the risk of accidents. It is important that all riders abide by these and obey instructions given by stewards. Everyone present must themselves take reasonable precautions to stay safe.
