In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

Shoot/Beanbags at Helston Community College, Church Hill, Helston, TR13 8NR. Follow directional signs from the main entrance to the Sports Hall.
Run: In the field behind Helston Community College.
Swim: Helston Sports Centre (adjacent to the College)
Rosettes will be awarded as follows:
Individuals – Rosettes to 6th place
Best Run, Shoot and Swim Rosettes in all classes
Well Done rosettes to all Beanies not placed.
Team Rosettes:
Teams (can be mixed teams from within the same club) Rosettes to 6th place
Presentation of Prizes at approximately 4.30pm
Teams of four (3 to count) made up of competitors from classes 1-8. Can be mixed teams from within the same club taking part in any combination of classes from classes 1-8.
Class 9 – Teams of three Adults
Team Trainers please email Beth Hillyard info@cornishblooms.co.uk straight after close of entries to announce teams.
- The competition will be run as far as possible in accordance with The Pony Club Tetrathlon Rules 2024.
- Any objections must be put forward by the Team Trainer.
- The judge’s decision will be final
- Shooting: Please ensure all competitors comply with firearms regulations. It is a condition of entry that all competitors can handle a gun correctly and that they and their loaders have had adequate training in safety on the firing range. Pistols must be kept boxed at all times. At the venue, Pistols must only be carried by an adult (aged 18 years and over) They may only be unboxed at the firing point on the instruction of the Range Steward. You are reminded of the rules regarding dress and please bring clean trainers for entry into the sports hall.
- Running: All competitors in Classes 1 – 9 will be running in heats.
- Swimming: Please ensure that all competitors do not bring muddy shoes into the Helston Swimming Pool complex and that no footwear is worn in the swimming area. Buoyancy aids will be allowed in Class 1 only, with no penalties. PLEASE INDICATE ON THE ENTRY FORM IF THE COMPETITOR IS IN GENUINE NEED OF AN OUTSIDE LANE. Times are approximate and will depend on the number of entries. Exact times will be sent to Team Trainers after close of entries.
- The adult class is very informal – please encourage more parents and supporters to have a go. The children enjoy it!
- Legal Liability Disclaimer Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord of his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
- Health & Safety The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser and all officials and stewards. Please read the risk assessment which can be found on the Cury Hunt Pony Club website.
- Behaviour This event is run by volunteers with the aim being that all those involved (including organisers and instructors) have an enjoyable time. Bad behaviour and language will not be tolerated and may result in the person concerned or their child being asked to leave.
- Insurance Non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club Insurance and must have their own third party cover. The Cury Hunt Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you. The organisers of the event, and all those that help, are volunteers and work tirelessly throughout the year to ensure the safety of those attending.
