Please note medical cover is included in the cost of entry for this event.
This class is for lead rein and assisted
This class may be assisted but NOT on totally lead rein. NO penalties in this class if the smaller xc jumps are jumped
SJ max 50cm, if smaller XC are jumped this will carry a penalty per jump
SJ max 60cm. XC up to 60cm. If smaller XC are jumped they will carry a penalty per jump. For those doing the regional championships the SJ can be set at 70cm. Please add to special requests and there will be a 4B class added
SJ max 80cm, some XC max 80cm, Smaller XC can be jumped but will carry a penalty per jump
SJ max 90cm. XC some 80cm. Smaller xc can be jumped with a penalty per jump. If anyone wants the PC90 Championship test 2015. Please add to special requests

ODE – One Day Event for any pony club member
Day runs with dressage first, then show jumping then onto cross country (the cross country is a good 5/10 min walk so make sure give yourself plenty of time to walk up)
Rules
All classes run under pony club Dressage, Show jumping and cross country rules 2024
Hats must be worn at all times, and tagged with the pink hat tag
All dressage tests can be found on the pony club website www.pcuk.org
Ponies/horses must be tacked up properly and riders appropriately dressed for classes at all times.
No pony/ horse combination may enter more than one class
Medical cover at our event complies with PC rules – there will be a first aid point at secretary tent on main field and then also at start of xc
All children under 10 need to be accompanied by an adult when walking to and from the xc course
We reserve the right to refuse entries from those we feel are over qualified/ or entered the wrong class
Maximum height of jumps in practice ring will be no higher than the class being jumped
Please present yourself to the dressage steward at least 10 minutes before your start time or you may be eliminated
Body protectors must be worn for the XC phase
Points go towards end of year trophies.
Caterer present on site.
Judge’s decision is final.
PC vaccination rule to be adhered to.
Dogs to be kept on a short lead and please pick up after them.
Toilets on site.
Dressage and SJ on show field, xc up on xc field – Walk up track in wood.
Please bring plenty of water if forecast looks warm.
There will dismounted prize giving after each class at the secretaries gazebo, each
rider should be in correct attire. Jodhpurs, boots hat etc. Results will be on pony cub results
Correct attire for each phase, however if warm jackets not required as long as shoulders covered.
Dressage Information
Please arrive to steward at least 15 minutes before dressage time.
Test can be called.
Please double check you have the right test for your class.
Show Jumping Information
Not running number order, put number down with steward.
Course won’t change, height will go up.
Please be punctual to allow smoother running of the day.
Cross Country Information
Body Protectors MUST be worn –2018 blue tag
Not running number order, put number down with steward.
10 penalty point if you jump a lower fence.
Please be aware of horses when walking course.
Follow signs for XC – Please be aware of bank, Horses and ponies must walk up and down wood, DO NOT WALK UP ROAD

2. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
3. All non Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The CFHS Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non Members and their insurance will not cover you.
