Pick a maximum of 3,5 or 7 classes – these must be listed on her entry form in notes.

No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

Enter as a rider you will be put into classes as per age. Pick 5 classes – add to notes on entry.
(option to do all 7 for £35 OR 3 or £15)
Class 1 – Hobby Horse dressage. Use the Hobby Horse you made for camp. There will be a Hobby Horse to borrow if you don’t have one. There will be a simple dressage test to follow – see bottom of the page.
Class 2 – Show Jumping – heights from xpole up. You can enter 2 heights.
Please add to the notes the heights you wish to jump in special requests . xpole, 40cm, 50cm, 60cm, 70cm, 80cm, 90cm 100cm
Class 3 – Fancy Dress – Olympic Theme. This will be judged at lunch time.
Class 4 – Handy Hunter – timed round- over 5 obstacles – you pick your 5. Go at any time during the day.
Class 5 – Horse and Hound – Small SJ round on your pony – pick a fence, 5 jumps, pick your own course. Jumps will vary from xpole to 70cm. Then run round a small SJ course with your dog on a lead. (you can borrow a dog from a friend if you don’t have one) Both rounds timed. 5 seconds added to time for knock downs. This class will run after the 50cm SJ class.
Class 6 – Games – walk, trot, lead: musical pots: quoit on cone: Each age group will be given a time for their races once entries are in.
Class 7 – Novelty classes: pony with the fluffiest ears, pony with the best markings, pony with the best tail – these classes will be judged all together in your age groups. These classes will be judged at Lunch time.
Rules
Show jumping rules 2024 – for SJ classes
Hats must be worn at all times, and tagged with the pink hat tag
Whip rule in place
Ponies/horses must be tacked up properly and riders appropriately dressed for classes at all times.
Hobby Horses – Home made or bought.
Dogs must be on a lead for the Horse and Hound Class
Dress code – PC polo shirts or show jackets (unless in the fancy dress class)
Medical cover at our event complies with PC rules
We reserve the right to refuse entries from those we feel are over qualified/ or entered the wrong class
Maximum height of jumps in practice ring will be no higher than the class being jumped
Points go towards end of year trophies.
Judge’s decision is final.
PC vaccination rule to be adhered to. Spot checks may be done.
A competitor may be disqualified at any stage if deemed necessary by the judge:
o For dangerous riding
o For misuse of whip or spurs or ill treatment of the horse
o If the horse is lame, sick or exhausted
o For unseemly behaviour including bad language
Dogs to be kept on a short lead and please pick up after them.

Pony Club members have 3rd party insurance as part of their membership
Hobby Horse Dressage Test: can be commanded. Arena is 10m x 5m

2. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and
stewards.
3. All non Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The CFHS Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non Members and their insurance will not cover you.
BY SIGNING THE DECLARATION ON ALL ENTRY FORMS YOU ARE GUARANTEEING THAT YOU HAVE APPROPRIATE THIRD PARTY INSURANCE. UNSIGNED DECLARATIONS WILL BE RETURNED.
