About this Event

Classes 70cm up to 110cm. Area 9 Qualifiers for the Spring Festival 2025 (1st-2nd March 2025 at Addington) at 80-110cm.

Classes are open to all, but only members of Branches/Centre in Area 9 can qualify for the Spring Festival, at this show.

Rosettes to 6th place (Individuals & Teams).

Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes

Withdrawal Date: 25/10/2024


Entries will be refunded up to the close of entries.

After close of entries, refunds only with a doctor/vet certificate, which need to be sent to horse-events by 6/11/2024

All refunds are subject to an admin fee.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded per class minus an admin fee of £3.00 (Booking fees are non refundable)

IF ENTRIES ARE FULL – a waiting list will be kept after entries close.

If over-subscribed, priority will be given to those from Area 9 entering a SF qualifier

Competition Format

Classes One to Four will be run single phase

Class Five (110cm) will be run Table A7, with a jump off if necessary for qualifying places for the Spring Festival 2025

Passports

PASSPORTS: horses/ponies will not be allowed to compete without their passport with valid flu vaccinations –please check that your pony/horse conforms to PC rules, available on the Pony Club website ( www.pcuk.org>officials>equine welfare and veterinary>vaccinations). All ponies and horses coming to the event must comply with the Pony Club vaccination rules, whether the rider is a PC member or not. Passports will be spot checked for compliance. A horse with a non-compliant passport will NOT be allowed to compete (nor will any horses travelling in the same trailer/lorry) and there will be no refund of entry. Please allow time for passport checking on the day.

N.B. Please be aware that travelling your horse (unless an emergency) without the horse’s own passport, means that you are liable for a fine of up to £5000 and/or up to two years imprisonment.

 

 

Times and Numbers

NUMBERS: rider numbers must be printed out by each competitor – if wearing a number bib please wear front and back. If the number is to be put on the saddlecloth – please use A5 size and wear both sides. If the number is to be worn on the back of the rider, then please print at least A5 size. Numbers to be printed/written as large as possible in dark ink please. Please do NOT use bridle numbers anywhere on the horse or rider.

TIMES/DRAWN ORDERS WILL BE GIVEN – please see ponyclubresults.com after 19:00 Thursday 31st October.

Please read all the notes on the show’s homepage on ponyclubresults.com before looking at your times. Competitors may be asked to jump before their drawn order time – please be ready at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time.

Teams

For the Team Competition Qualifier – Branches/Centres may enter a team of three members in each class height – all three scores will count. Branches/Centres may enter as many teams as required for each SF Qualifier height.

DCs/Centre Proprietors/Team Managers: you must email your teams for the SF Qualifiers to Caitlin (croomepcshows@hotmail.com) by Monday 28th October (12noon), please.

N.B. Any individuals not entered for the Team Competition Qualifiers, will be put into mixed teams of three (all scores to count) – these teams will NOT be eligible to qualify for the Championships

TEAMS: The top placed eligible team will qualify for the Championships at each SF height: when a qualifying individual is a member of a qualifying team, the qualifying individual place will be passed down.

Entries are only accepted on this basis.

2. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.

3. All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own thirdparty cover. The Croome Hunt Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover them.
