Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes

Withdrawal Date: 20/10/2024


Refund minus an admin fee of £2.50 up until Withdrawal date. After the Withdrawal date only refund if replaced from the wait list.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded minus an admin fee of £5 per horse and rider combination (Booking fees are non refundable)

RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
  1. Teams to consist of 3 or 4 members of the same Branch of the Pony Club.
  2. Combinations can ride in 2 consecutive height teams as per 2024 rules.
  3. Organisers reserve the right to cancel, amend or add to the classes as they see fit.
  4. The judge’s decision is final.
  5. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
  6. Organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
  7. Any competitor lodging an objection must do so in writing & deposit the sum of £10 with the Secretary within 10 minutes of the Class having been judged and in the event of the objection not being upheld will forfeit the deposit.
  8. Late entries will be accepted on the day at £2 extra if space permits. However, as entries for some classes may need to be restricted, early entry is recommended.
  9. The Organisers reserve the right to vary the order of the composition of the schedule according to circumstances if necessary
  10. No entry fees will be returned without a vet’s or doctor’s certificate presented within 7 days of the show
  11. No horse or pony under 5 years old to be entered
  12. In the case of cancellation due to bad weather/unforeseen circumstances £5.00 will be kept from each entrant for administrative costs.
  13. No entries will be accepted without remittance
  14. All classes will be run under 2024 Pony Club Rules – see website.
  15. Riders must be correctly dressed for unmounted prize giving.
Terms and Conditions

Reasonable Adjustment

The Pony Club is committed to ensuring that, wherever possible, members are able to access all aspects of the Branch and Centre activities we offer. Reasonable Adjustments are any actions that help to reduce the effect of a disability or difficulty. Reasonable Adjustments can be used for the Pony Club Tests and should be approved in advance of the Test taking place. Reasonable Adjustments can also be used to allow for members to take part in activities or competitions. As with Tests, these adjustments should be approved in advance of the activity or competition.

How to apply for a Reasonable Adjustment

The application is via the Reasonable Adjustment Application Form. This Form must be submitted, accompanied by the member’s Personal Profile and relevant documents from a healthcare professional, to the relevant person (Test Organiser, Competition Secretary, Rally Organiser) at least two weeks before the activity is due to take place.
