About this Event

Show open to all whether pony club members or not. All classes are Sunshine Tour Qualifiers ( 1st -3rd individuals qualify)

Classes 2-5 also incorporate team competitions. Prizes in kind to first 3 individuals.

Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes

Withdrawal Date: 20/03/2025


Refund minus an admin fee of £5.00 up until Withdrawal date. After the Withdrawal date refund minus £5 admin fee on production of vet or doctors certificate within 48 hrs after the end of the event. In all cases the booking fee is non refundable.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel 50% of your entry fee will be refunded, minus any Booking fees.

After the closing date please contact the event Secretary to make any changes

Before the closing date please login to your Horse Events Account and cancel your entry. If a refund is due this will be processed automatically. To withdraw after the closing date please contact the event Secretary

Entry information

All entries should be made online using www.horse-events.co.uk .  If you would like to edit your horse or rider details change class or cancel your entry before the closing date of the event please login to your Horse Events account and edit your booking under ‘EDIT ENTRY’ tab.

All entries are subject to a non- refundable booking fee as stated online on a per class basis.

First Aid Fee £3 per Horse and Rider combination.

 

After closing date substitutions may only be made as per Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2025.

Catering by Kelly’s coffee ( mobile van) includes hot food.

All classes will run in an indoor arena, warm up on a covered surface.

All classes will be run in accordance with Pony Club Showjumping Rules 2025.

All Competitors need to attend tack check BEFORE they go into the  warm up area.  Maximum of 8 in the warm up.

All pony club Competitor’s hats must be tagged with a PINK PC hat tag and yellow spurs tag if spurs worn.

If your hat is not tagged please visit the event secretary before mounting for check and issue of tags to compliant hats only.

Dogs on site only on a lead and not in the viewing area, collecting ring or arena entrance/exit area.

Please clear away your own droppings.

Horses/Ponies should not be left tied to any vehicle/trailer if unattended.

No haynets outside vehicles/trailers.

All horses/ponies must be vaccinated as per Pony Club rules.

Prizes & Prize Giving

Prizes Classes 2-5

Rosettes 1st to 8th for individuals and 1st to 4th for teams.

Additionally, the first 3 individuals in each class receive prizes in kind and qualify for the Sunshine tour 2025.

There will be an unmounted prize giving in the jumping arena as soon as possible after the end of each class.

 

Team information

PC Team Manager Access is available to view branch entries and assign teams online, apply for team manager access on the booking form.

PC Entrants: if you want to be considered for a team please choose team and leave team name blank when you enter.

 

Terms and Conditions

Please read the schedule for liability and health and safety information. All accidents and incidents must be reported to the secretary and all riders who fall must consult the paramedic on site. We hope you have fun at our show. Please remember, all officials are volunteers who have given their time so the competitors can have a great day enjoying their horse/pony. Please follow their instructions. Tack and turnout guidance can be found in PC Showjumping rules 2025.

Legal Liability:

Save for death or personal injury caused by negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, competitors, spectators or any person or property whatsoever, whether caused by negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.  Entries are only accepted on this basis.

Health and Safety:

The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event.  For these measures to be effective everyone must take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents.  They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards. Any accident, incident or injury must be reported to the secretary and any rider who falls off must consult the paramedic before getting back on.

Photographic Rights:

Competitors and their guardians give permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons taking part in Pony Club events to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of The Pony Club and/or official sponsors of The Pony Club.
