Competition Format
Clear round Showjumping, course built on grass.
No specific times. Different height ranges, each hour. Starting at 9am
Opportunity to jump again or jump next height by adding an additional entry on the day,
Rules
The event will be run under the Pony Club Showjumping rules 2024 Failure to comply with the rules may result in elimination. The judges decision is final. The Pony Club hat rule is mandatory, all mounted riders must wear a hat with current pink tag.
The Pony Club Hat Rule is mandatory. ALL MOUNTED RIDERS MUST WEAR A HAT WITH A CURRENT PINK TAG.6. Horses and ponies shall be over 4 years old.8. Rosettes, according to entries.7. The Organisers reserve the right to alter or cancel classes at any given time.9. Objections must be submitted in writing with a £25 deposit, within 30 minutes of the completion of the class.
Legal Liability
The committee, organisers and land owners do not hold themselves responsible for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to any horse, rider, spectators or any other person or property. Insurance
Non-Pony Club member competitors are not covered by The Pony Club Insurance and must have their own third-party cover. The Cottesmore Hunt Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-members and their insurance will not cover you.”
Health & Safety
The Organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organisers and all the Officials and Stewards.
