Rider Entry fees, after costs and ALL RIDER SPONSORSHIP monies raised plus any donations received will be donated equally to the Derby Mountain Rescue,Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance and Treetops Hospice.
The course is only possible with the support of local landowners and farmers who allow the ride onto their private land.
Our ride allows you a unique opportunity to ride through farmland not usually available to horse riders.
We greatly encourage ALL riders to please gain any Rider Sponsorship ahead of the ride. ALL Rider Sponsorship is evenly distributed to our worthy Charities.

Riders taking part in this Charity Sponsored Horse Ride, Do so at their own risk.
Church Wilne Rotary has no control over conditions underfoot and to the extent permitted by Law does not accept responsibility for any loss, damage or injury to any animal, person, vehicle, trailer or other property, howsoever this may be caused
INSURANCE: All riders MUST have their own insurance for rider and horse for this Event
EQUINE FLU VACCINATION: It is expected that all horses and ponies should be vaccinated against equine influenza, a valid certificate of vaccination MUST be available for inspection, when requested.
RIDING HATS: All riders MUST wear hats/helmets up to British Standard Riding Hats
BODY PROTECTORS: Riding is a risk sport and although not compulsory we would advise that all riders wear body protectors to the latest BETA standard.
RIDER NUMBER: Register and obtain a number before starting the ride; you MUST display the number issued, ON YOUR FRONT, at all times.
COURSE: Please keep to the marked course, obey all route signs and Marshals’ instructions, take care at all times.
The course is set out on farmland, road and bridle paths.
If jumps are available on the day, all jumps are voluntary, the ride is open to jumpers and non-jumpers alike.
Please note, the ride is NOT a competition, race or time trial and speed is not a consideration.
Reckless riders will be warned and may be asked to leave the course.
RETIRING: Should a rider choose to leave the marked course and not return to the
Start/Finish field, they MUST inform the marshal nearest to their departure from the course, so that the organisers know you are safe and not lost!
COUNTRY CODE: Please observe the country code, in particular, with regard to other riders, walkers and cyclists using the bridle paths.
HIGHWAY CODE: Give way to traffic on roads and observe the rules.
SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN: All entrants aged under 16 must be accompanied throughout by an adult.
DOGS: MUST be kept on leads and under strict control at all times.
Any person who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions will be asked to leave
the event.
PHOTOGRAPHY: Please note that we will have photographers present at this event. The photographs may be used on our social media platforms or for marketing purposes now and in the future.
Please email churchwilnehorseride@gmail.com should you wish your photograph NOT to be used.
REFUNDS: Will only be given if the organisers have to cancel the event in its entirety.
This will be minus any non-refundable booking fee.
COMPLIANCE STATEMENT
The personal data provided by each entrant is required by Church Wilne Rotary for event administration purposes and/or means of contact for each entrant.
It will not be shared with or distributed to any other person, body or organisation.
Under no circumstances will the data be stored or used for any purpose other than the need to contact the entrant concerning this event and/or the provision of information about future horse rides.
By Completing the entry form and paying the entrance fee, the entrant accepts both the Terms and Conditions above and this Compliance Statement.
