Friendly tournament on grass for Jorrocks, JOPPS, HX, Surtees, Loriner/Rendell.  Open to members of all club branches.

Gannon teams welcome and would play on tournament grounds, but please contact before entering.

Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes

Withdrawal Date: 30/11/-0001


No refunds. In the event of a team entering a tournament and subsequently withdrawing, the expectation must be that the entry fee will not be refunded. However, in some situations some refund may be made at the discretion of the chairman.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel 50% of your entry fee will be refunded, minus any Booking fees.In the event of insufficient entries, all entry money less a booking fee will be refunded

Entry information

All entries should be made online using www.horse-events.co.uk.

For Pony Club entries you will need your membership number and Branch/Centre to enter.

Horse and/or rider changes change classes or cancel your entry before the closing date can be made online by logging into your Horse Events account and editing your entry under the ‘edit event’ tab.

All entries are subject to a non-refundable booking fee as stated online. Entries may have to be limited and will be taken on a ‘first come’ basis The organisers reserve the right to amalgamate/alter classes if there are insufficient entries

After the closing date for entries, substitutions may only be made as per P.C. Polo Rules 2020. Please email your changes after the closing date to: ponyclub@camparkpolo.co.uk.

Rules

• To be run in accordance with Pony Club Polo Rules

• Please ensure your members comply with eligibility and hat tagging rules and have a responsible adult present.

• Late entries may be accepted at the organiser’s discretion. Late Entry Surcharge: £20 per team, £5 per person

• Queries may only be raised via the Organiser by the DC or their appointee. Protests / objections will be managed as per Pony Club Polo Rules.

• Photographic Rights – competitors and their parents/guardians have given permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part in Pony Club events to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of the Pony Club and/or Official Sponsors of the Pony Club.

• A valid passport and vaccination record must accompany the horse/pony to this event and must be available for inspection if required by event officials. Vaccinations must be in accordance with the Pony Club Polo Rule Book

Additional Information 

Approx 10am start and the programme will be run in the typical pony club polo format. 

This is a Friendly tournament so players may enter teams that are not necessarily the teams that they will be playing with during the qualifiers and Cowdray. Teams to be entered complete but we may be able to help individuals find teams if necessary. Please contact the organisers. 

Prize giving will be at the end of play and the expectation is that all teams will stay for this. 

Should the weather be unsuitable to play on the grass, there is an arena we can use. There will be an information letter sent out with the draw and schedule.

All dogs must be kept on leads at ALL times.

LEGAL LIABILITY Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the Organisers of any event to which these rules apply, nor the Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.

HEALTH, SAFETY & WELFARE:

The Organisers of this Event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organisers and all the Officials and Stewards.
