Please Note for pony club members who are wanting to enter teams into applicable dressage classes, please let your team manager know who will email Burton@PCUK.org with the relevant team members by class. See schedule for applicable classes.

Classes 1-2         £12   (Burton Hunt PC members £11) + £1.45 Booking Fee

Classes 3-14         £16   (Burton Hunt PC members £14) + £1.45 Booking Fee

SHOW JUMPING

ALL CLASSES WILL RUN AS A SINGLE PHASE

Competitors will jump the whole course unless they are eliminated. Second part of the course will be timed, faults to be accumulated over both sections. Arena start times are provisionally 9.00am, this may change depending on entries but will be published on Thursday 6th June on Pony Club Results.

Combinations may only jump in 2 sequential height classes (i.e. 40cm & 50cm / 50cm & 60cm).

Same horse/rider combinations may only jump twice.

Dressage ROSETTES: Individuals to 6^th place all classes/sections, Teams to 3rd place unless class is specified as individual only. Showjumping ROSETTES: Individuals to 6^th place all classes/sections.  Horses and Ponies will be split if we have enough entries.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1.   Legal Liability: Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.

2.   Health & Safety: Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.

3.   The event will be run under Pony Club Show Jumping and Dressage Rules 2024 and it is the responsibility of the competitors to make sure that they understand and adhere to the rules.

4.   The event venue stipulates all horses/ponies entering the event site must comply with 2024 Pony Club vaccination rules – passports must accompany all horses/ponies and spot checks may be undertaken – no horse or pony to

have been vaccinated within 7 days of the event.

5.   Please ensure that the riding hat is tagged in line with the pony club rules (pink tags).

6.   Classes 1 and 2 ONLY may be ridden in normal riding tack in line with the General Sport rules.

7.      Any late changes to teams must be made to the Secretary 30 minutes prior to the advertised class time.

8.      NO substitutions after teams have been declared.

8.   The organisers’ reserve the right to alter, amend or cancel any class / amalgamate sections where there are insufficient entries or split classes if oversubscribed and reserve the right to disqualify anyone for misuse of the whip or spurs, dangerous riding or any horse/pony in poor or lame condition, and to refuse any entry for any reason at their sole discretion.

9.        In the event of a competition being abandoned, for whatever reason, a full refund will be given less any booking fees.

10.      Strictly NO mucking out onto the parking area. Please use poo pickers provided for horse walks and warm up areas.

11.      NO prams/pushchairs, wheelchairs or mobility vehicles allowed in any warmup area or horse walks.

12.      All dogs must be kept on leads and you MUST clear up after your dog.
