About this Event

The competition will be run in the new Churchill Arena in accordance with the Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2024. Each team will consist of 3 or 4 members with 3 scores to count. All members of each team will jump consecutively. No pony can compete more than once in the same class

Entry information

ENTRIES will be taken on a first come, first served basis with branches able to enter up to TWO teams in each class. We will also accept mixed teams – teams made up of individual members of different branches from the same Area but only if a branch is not fielding a team in the class.

Entries close with final declaration of team members on 14th September 2024.

Entries will close earlier if classes are full.A wait list will be taken, if oversubscribed at entry point, and those successful will be notified if a place becomes available. If the competition is undersubscribed a PC80 Teams class will be added on September 2nd so, please make sure you make your entries before this date. Anyone competing in the PC100 or PC90 classes will not be eligible for this additional class.

Times & Number template

Times will be posted on https://www.ponyclubresults.co.uk from Thursday 19th September after 6pm.

Please print your own numbers to be worn in a number bib. You can click on your name in Pony Club Results to obtain a printable version. Numbers to be printed/written as large as possible in dark ink please. Please do NOT use bridle numbers

Warm up

Teams will not be allowed into the warm up arena until 10 minutes before the

start time of their first rider

Parking passes

PASSES 1 horsebox pass and 2 admission tickets will be issued to each competitor by email. 1 x DC and 1 x Team Trainer will also be issued with admission passes. All other spectators will have to pay to access the main arena/trade stands area except for children under 12yr.

SUBSTITUTIONS After the closing date no substitutions may be made of horses or riders except in cases of illness, lameness or other unavoidable circumstances which must be certified by the District Commissioner or their appointed Representative.

PARKING It would be very helpful if competitors could double up and travel together where possible as parking is limited. Please follow instructions given by the Parking Stewards at all times.

Additional Details

Please note that the new Churchill Arena and lorry park is located in the middle of the Blenheim Horse Trials cross country course and therefore please ensure that the ponies and horses entered for the competition are suitable for this setting. Also extra care must be taken at XC crossing points entering and accessing the lorry park.

Passports must be available on request, and spot checks may be carried out. Vaccinations must be in accordance with the current Pony Club vaccination rule.

All dogs must be kept on leads and under control and please clean up after your dog.

Please take your rubbish home.

No horses/ponies may be left outside lorries/trailers unattended or haynets tied up outside.

All droppings must be removed from the lorry park before departure.

Neither the Pony Club, the Organisers, nor any person acting on their behalf, accepts any liability for any damage, accident, injury or illness to ponies, horses, spectators or any other person or property whatsoever.

Disclaimer of Liability: Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the Pony Club, organisers of Blenheim Horse Trials, Blenheim Estate, British Eventing, the FEI, the sponsors, nor any agent, employee or representative of those bodies accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any person or property whatsoever, whether caused by the negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.

Health & Safety: The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present, for these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
