In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded per class minus an admin fee of £5 (Booking fees are non refundable)

Eland Lodge National Arena Eventing Championships
Those placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in each class qualify for the Eland Lodge National Arena Eventing Championships which will be held on the weekend of 8th / 9th March 2025. Entries for those who have qualified for the Championship will be on Horse Monkey. For more information see

Legal Liability
Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
Health & Safety
The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
The Course is all on the all weather Super Arena and made up of SJ & XC fences with an optimum time & no style marks. Riders will jump a series of show jumps and then proceed immediately into the XC phase. The winner will be the competitor with the lowest number of penalties. In the event of a tie the winner will be the one closest to the optimum time.
Rules & conditions of entry

- The Show will be run under The Pony Club Eventing Rules 2024 and The Pony Club Arena Eventing Rules, all of which are available on www.pcuk.org
- Riders must be current members of the Pony Club.
- Riders cannot compete in more than two classes per day. Horses/ponies cannot compete more than once in each class or in more than two classes on the day.
- Vaccinations – Pony Club rules on vaccinations will apply – see biosecurity policy on https://pcuk.org/about-us/policies/. Random checks may be carried out.
- Cross Country compliant XC kit and Saddlery should be worn. The Pony Club Saddlery and Dress rules apply.
- The Judges’ and Organisers’ decision is final.
- All classes are open to horses and ponies of any height.
- No horses are to be left tied to the outside of a lorry / trailer.
- Dogs are allowed on site but must be kept on a lead. Any dog mess must be cleared up.
- The Show organisers reserve the right to cancel any class with less than 5 entries.
- Withdrawals received after closing date (13 October) will not be refunded. Withdrawals received on/before 13 October will be refunded the entry fee less a booking fee.
- If the event is cancelled for any reason entry fees will be refunded less an administration fee of up to £5.
- Please note that if you do not adhere to the rules you may be asked to leave the site even if you have not yet competed.
- If you would like to edit your horse or rider details before the closing date of the event please login to your Horse Events account and edit your booking under the ‘MY BOOKING’ Tab. If you would like to change the class please email info@horse-events.co.uk and if there is space available they will do this for you.
