About this Event

Open outdoor unaffiliated dressage competition judged under BD rules. Rosettes to 6th place in each class and section and rosettes to 3rd place in each class and section for the best “Matchy Matchy”.

No refunds at any time.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded per class minus an admin fee of £2.50 (Booking fees are non refundable)

After the closing date please contact the event Secretary to make any changes

Before the closing date please login to your Horse Events Account and cancel your entry. If a refund is due this will be processed automatically. To withdraw after the closing date please contact the event Secretary

Light refreshments supplied by “Pony Stars” Photographer for the day is Emily Corten of www.corteninthemoment.co.uk Raffle in aid of Thames Valley Air Ambulance Dressage entries close on the Monday before the event. Dressage times will be published on the Thursday before the competition on the website: www.berkscountyridingclub.co.uk and BCRC Facebook page.

Terms and Conditions

Berkshire County Riding Club Rules

1)      To be judged under British Dressage (BD)

2)       The decision of the Judges, Secretary and Stewards is final.

3)      All horses & ponies to be 4yrs and over.

4)      The landowner, organiser or officials shall not be held responsible for anything that may happen to competitors, spectators and their property as a result of this event.

5)      Entry fees will only be refunded (less the administration and the booking fee) if a vet or doctors’ certificate is produced within 2 days of show date.

6)      Correct dress should be worn by all competitors in line with the rules.
All hats must be PAS0 15/BSI or VG1 01.040/BSI Kite marks.

7)      The event organiser reserves the right to refuse any entry without giving reason.

8)      It is the responsibility of competitors to know and adhere to the rules with help of our stewards & officials.

9)      Lunging is not permitted in any of the arenas at any time.

10) Please clear up any droppings, hay or bedding from the car park or lorry park, as well as any litter, and take these away with you.

11) Flu Vaccination Certificates. All competing horses and ponies must have an up to date full flu vaccination certificate. If your flu vaccination does not comply, or you do not bring the complete record with you, you will be eliminated. Refer to the current BRC handbook for the full rules on vaccination certificates. Please note the full handbook is available online.

12) Dogs are NOT permitted on the premises and children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and not left to roam at will.

13) Smoking is not permitted anywhere on site.

14) Please park your vehicles considerately and be aware of access and other users of the yard and its facilities.

15) For biosecurity measures, at no time must you enter the stable yard, stables or other restricted areas. Please do not make contact with any of the other horses whilst at the premises. Please ensure that you or other members of your group do not attend the premises if you or they or their horses are feeling unwell, off colour or running a temperature
