The pair’s competition will be judged on the fastest time with 5 seconds added for each
knockdown or fence refusal. The 1st combination to jump must hand over a whip baton to the 2nd
combination having completed the 1st round. The 2nd combination then jumps the 2nd round.
The time is started when the 1st pony passes through the start and stops when the 2nd pony
passes through the finish. If either of the pair is eliminated (three refusals) the other
combination may take the whip baton and complete the course from the point of elimination

No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded in full minus any booking fees

The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring, and must obey the instructions of the organisers, all officials and stewards. All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The Atherstone Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you.
Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of the event to which these rules apply, nor the Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accept any liability for an accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horse, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
The event will be run under The Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2025
• Hats must conform to Pony Club standards and be tagged – Pony Club Hat Rule 2025
• The judge’s decision is final.
• Open to all, members and non members.
• Objections in writing with a deposit of £25 accepted according to Pony Club rules within 15 minutes of the
incident occurring.
• By entry to this competition competitors agree to being photographed by the organisers
• All horses/ponies entering the event site must comply with The Pony Club Vaccination Rule
• Horses and ponies must be 5 years old or over. Stallions can only be ridden by Members if they have obtained written permission from the Atherstone Pony Club District Commissioner and in the interests of safety, must wear identifying discs on their bridle.
• Please ensure that you pick up any droppings or litter from around the lorry/trailer park before leaving.
• No horse or pony is to be left unattended unless correctly secured inside the trailer/horsebox.
All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their
