About this Event

This is the Area Team and Individual Qualifiers for the PC90, PC100, Equidry Chairman’s Cup & PC110 at The Pony Club National Championships 2024.

The event has non-qualifier classes which are open to adults and non-Pony Club members.

All 90cm & 100cm are a Qualifier for the Horse Events National Unaffiliated SEG & Young Horse Eventing Championships 2024 at 80cm 90cm 100cm

Course Description: As this event is a Championship Qualifier, the courses will be up to height and technicality.

Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes

Withdrawal Date: 28/06/2024


No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.

If a Branch or Centre withdraw a team or individual, prior to the withdrawal date for entries, a full refund will be given. This applies also to Open classes.

Withdrawals after the withdrawal date will NOT be refunded except on the production of a valid Doctor’s or Vet’s certificate.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel 50% of your entry fee will be refunded, minus any Booking fees.

After the closing date if allowed please make any additional changes via your horse events account. If you unable to please contact Horse Events Direct info@horse-events.co.uk. There may be a fee associated with making changes to your entry.

Before the closing date please login to your Horse Events Account and cancel your entry. If a refund is due this will be processed automatically. Entry Fees: £95 plus a non refundable booking fee as stated online

ENTRIES – QUALIFIER CLASSES

All entries must be approved by your Branch DC or Centre Proprietor. Once entries close, a list of entries from each Branch/Centre will be sent to DCs/Proprietors for the allocation of Team Places.

After the closing date, all substitutions may be made only in accordance with The Pony Club Eventing Rules 2024.

ENTRIES – ALL CLASSES

All entries should be made online at www.horse-events.co.uk. This is a single booking form and entries will not be confirmed without payment. For Pony Club entries (Qualifier classes) you will need your Membership Number and Branch/Centre.

If you need to edit your Horse/Rider details before the Closing Date, please login to your Horse Events account and edit your booking under the ‘edit entry ’ tab.

Qualifiers

This event is a Qualifier for the Horse Events National Unaffiliated SEG & Young Horse Eventing Championships 2024 at 80cm 90cm 100cm

 

This event is a Qualifier for the Horse Events National Unaffiliated SEG & Young Horse Eventing Championships 2024 Incorporating:

* Amateur ONLY classes – Riders must meet eligibility criteria to ensure a true amateur class

* Open class for young horses – open to all levels of rider with horse 4, 5 or 6 years in their 1st or 2nd year of eventing.

* Schools Equestrian Games Eventing Championships – the Prestigious Schools Eventing series to find the Schools eventing champions.

Championships 21st -22nd September  – Dauntsey Park, Wiltshire. 80, 90 & 100cm

DIRECTIONS

What Three Words for Gate Entrance = Forks Refilled Limit. This takes you to the Entrance

Gate – SatNav directions are not so helpful.

Henley Regatta – Sunday, 7 July is the final day of Henley Regatta and consequently, traffic will be much heavier than usual. Please do leave extra time to arrive and avoid going

through Henley if at all possible.

 

Prizes & Prize Giving

ROSETTES AND PRIZE GIVING

Individuals – 1st to 8th per class/section per Area

Teams – 1st to 6th per class/section per Area.

Open Classes – 1st to 6th per class.

Craddock rosettes will be awarded to all Qualifier competitors in the PC100, Chairman’s Cup and PC110 who achieve clear rounds in show jumping and cross country, without time penalties.

All results will be available on Pony Club Results https://www.ponyclubresults.co.uk/ on the day.

Prize Giving will be unmounted, by the Administration Tent. All Prize Winners must be correctly attired.

 

Rules

1. To be run in accordance with The Pony Club Eventing Rules 2024.

2. Competitors and those responsible for them, must be conversant with The Pony Club Eventing Rule Book 2024, with particular regard to dress and tack.

3. Competitors must download and print their numbers from Pony Club Results. These will be available when the times are published. Numbers must be displayed front and back in a number bib and must be worn at all times when mounted. Handwritten numbers will NOT be accepted.

4. Competitors must bring their own number bib.

5. Any Entry Queries should be raised with your Branch DC or Centre Proprietor.

6. No horse/pony may compete in more than one class.

7. Photographic Rights – competitors and their parents/guardians have given permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part in Pony Club events to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of the Pony Club and/or Official Sponsors of the Pony Club.

8. A valid passport and vaccination record must accompany the horse/pony to this event and must be available for inspection if required by event officials. Health & Safety

Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present.  For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.

Legal Liability

Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever.  Entries are only accepted on this basis.

Insurance for non-Pony Club Competitors

Competitors who are not members of The Pony Club are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover.  The organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you.

Reasonable Adjustment

Adjustments are any The Pony Club is committed to ensuring that, wherever possible, members are able to access all aspects of the Branch and Centre activities we offer.  Reasonable actions that help to reduce the effect of a disability or difficulty.  Any requests for Reasonable Adjustment must be made by Friday, 28th June, to:
