In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded minus an admin fee of £5.00 per horse and rider combination (Booking fees are non refundable)

All entries should be made online at the following link: www.horse-events.co.uk Entry Fee: £44/team This is a single booking form process and entries will not be confirmed without payment. All entries are subject to a non-refundable booking fee which will be stated online on a per class basis. Branches and Centres will need to make entries on behalf of their teams. In doing so they are certifying the eligibility. Teams should ideally consist of four members, but teams of three may be entered. Branches and Centres may enter one Mini Team and one Junior/Senior Team. Additional teams may be accepted if there is space. Please contact Jane Crawford by email (suffolk@pcuk.org) if you have additional teams and we will add you to a wait list. The following information will be needed when making entries: PC membership number, member name, member DOB, Pony Club Branch or Centre, Team contact name & phone number. Team amendments before the closing date can be made online by logging into your Horse Events account under ‘My Bookings’. Mini Competition – morning (exact start time to be confirmed) Junior/Senior Competition – afternoon (exact start time to be confirmed)
Team rosettes to 6th place for both Mini and Junior/Senior Competitions. Branches and Centres will not be separated. The winning Branch and Centre in each competition will qualify for the National Final (to be held on Saturday 20th April 2024 at Sheffield Wednesday Football Club).
• Centres and Branches should provide two helpers per team, to assist with the running of the quiz. No equestrian knowledge is needed, and all equipment will be provided. • What to Wear: Competitors should dress in an appropriate manner, suitable for representing their Branch or Centre. Pony club sweatshirt, polo shirt or jacket is suggested, with comfortable trousers and footwear. • Plenty of free parking is available at the Village Hall (directions will be on Pony Club Results nearer to the date of the competition). Also note, there is a children’s playground in the grounds of the Village Hall. • Could each team please bring a food donation (plate of savouries or a cake) to share. Hot and cold drinks will be provided, but it would be useful if competitors brought their own water bottle. • There will be an optional mascot competition with a Mini and a Junior/Senior winner.

Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the Organisers of any event to which these rules apply, nor the Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.
Health, Safety & Welfare
The Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organisers and all the Officials and Stewards.
