Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes
Withdrawal Date: 10/06/2024
Refund minus an admin fee of £5.00 up until Withdrawal date. After the withdrawal date no refunds will be made without a doctor or vet certificate, unless there is a waiting list and we can fill your place. In this case a refund will be given (subject to an admin charge of £5).
Please note: booking fees are non-refundable in all cases.
Cancellation:
If the event is cancelled before the withdrawal date a full refund will be given.
If the event is cancelled after the withdrawal date a 50% refund will be given.

Entry Fees: £55 per rider (includes medical cover) This is a single booking form process, and entries will not be confirmed without payment. For any entry changes (rider change, horse change, class change, withdrawal etc) before the closing date please log onto your Horse Events account and make the changes. After the closing date please contact the event secretary for any changes
XC course designer: Joe Weller
Course Description: Both classes will be up to height and technicality, with dressed fences. The PC70 will run over the same XC course as the qualifying classes and the PC80 will run over the same XC course as the Gosling Cup (max height 85cm) – there will be L options for the more challenging fences.
Entries Close/Withdrawal Date: 10th June 2024 at midnight. No late entries.

Dogs are welcome but MUST be always on a short lead in all areas of the venue.

Rosettes to 6th place in all individual classes.
There will be a Prizegiving on the day after class results have been posted and verified.
Entry Conditions
● To be run in accordance with Pony Club Eventing Rules 2024. All rules are available at – https://pcuk.org/officials/rulebooks/. Please take special note of the updated body protector rule.
● A body protector is compulsory for all Pony Club Cross Country riding (including Arena Eventing) and Pony Racing activities whether it be training or competition. A body protector for these activities must meet BETA 2018 Level 3 Standard (blue and black label)
● AIR JACKETS If a rider chooses to wear an air jacket in Cross Country or Pony Racing, it must only be used in addition with a normal body protector which meets BETA 2018 Level 3 standard (blue and black label).
● Commanders are permitted in dressage in PC70 and PC70 plus.
● No XC time penalties at PC70 level.
● Skull caps must be worn at all levels of xc.
● White, beige, cream, dark or muted coloured jodhpurs are allowed in all phases.
● Please ensure you comply with 2024 Pony Club hat tagging (pink tags for this year), body protector and medical armband rules. Sleeves must cover the shoulders for the XC phase.
● Please note the new whip rule for 2022 onwards (SJ and XC): A whip, if carried, must be held in the hand by the handle with the handle at the top. The whip must be “padded”. The maximum length of the “Whip” is 70cm and must be no less than 45cm. For full details follow the link above for rulebook. For dressage – a whip any length may be carried for PC70 and PC70 plus
● No horses/ponies under 5 years of age can compete.
● No horse will be allowed to compete more than once.
● The Judges’ decision is final. Any objections should be made to the Secretary on the day.
● Any outside assistance or interference by anyone other than an OFFICIAL will result in elimination.
● Photographic Rights – competitors and their parents/guardians have given permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part in Pony Club events to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of the Pony Club and/or Official Sponsors of the Pony Club.
● A valid passport and vaccination record must accompany the horse/pony to this event and must be available for inspection if required by event officials. Vaccinations must be in accordance with the Pony Club Eventing Rule Book 2024.
● Hair must be tied back securely and above the collar preferably in a hairnet.
● Stopwatches are not allowed at PC70 and PC70 plus
● Please bring a number bib and provide your own number. Template for number printing will be available at www.ponyclubresults.co.uk once times have been published.

This event is a Qualifier for the Horse Events National Unaffiliated SEG & Young Horse Eventing Championships 2024 at 80cm 90cm 100cm
This event is a Qualifier for the Horse Events National Unaffiliated SEG & Young Horse Eventing Championships 2024 Incorporating:
* Amateur ONLY classes – Riders must meet eligibility criteria to ensure a true amateur class
* Open class for young horses – open to all levels of rider with horse 4, 5 or 6 years in their 1st or 2nd year of eventing.
* Schools Equestrian Games Eventing Championships – the Prestigious Schools Eventing series to find the Schools eventing champions.

HEALTH, SAFETY & WELFARE: The Organisers of this Event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organisers and all the Officials and Stewards.
