Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes
Withdrawal Date: 28/12/2024
No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.
In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded per class minus an admin fee of £3.00 (Booking fees are non refundable)
After the closing date if allowed please make any additional changes via your horse events account. If you unable to please contact Horse Events Direct info@horse-events.co.uk. There may be a fee associated with making changes to your entry.
Before the closing date please login to your Horse Events Account and cancel your entry. If a refund is due this will be processed automatically. Entries – enter online at www.horse-events.co.uk if you have any queries regarding online entries please contact Horse-Events info@horse-events.co.uk For Pony Club entries you will need your membership number & Branch/Centre to enter a qualifying class
Entry fee for all classes is £25
All entries are subject to a non-refundable booking fee as stated online on a per class basis
Withdrawals & Changes – if you would like to edit your horse or rider details change class or cancel your entry before the closing date of the event please login to your Horse Events account and edit your booking under the ‘EDIT ENTRY’ Tab
For all changes of horse and rider substitutions after the closing date there is a £5 charge please fill out the following form online at: https://www.horse-events.co.uk/rider-horse-substitutions-form/
All members must attend their own Area Qualifier, no exemptions will be given.
Entry Conditions
Qualifying classes – all competitors must be members of the Pony Club both at the closing date for entries to the competition and at the date of the competition
Horses/ponies must be aged 5 years or older
A responsible adult must be present with minors
Please print your own Paper Number
The course will only be open for walking before the class starts
The winner will be the competitor with the lowest number of penalties
In the event of a tie the winner will be the one closest to the optimum time
The Judge’s decision is final
Dress
Saddlery and Dress –cross country compliant kit and saddlery should be worn
Stop watches are not permitted
All competitors to comply with Pony Club 2024 hat rule & body protector rule *PC members to comply with new spur rule

Individual rosettes to 6th place in all classes
Team rosettes to 6th place in qualifying classes
A Prize to the highest placed Waveney Harriers PC member in each class, kindly sponsored by Midspirit Equestrian

Team information
Team Competition – Branches/Centres may enter a team of three members in each section of the Area Qualifier competitions
The team members must compete in the same level of competition
The team must comprise of three members and all three scores count
Area/Mixed Teams will not be eligible to qualify for the Championships
Team managers can assign teams online if you require team manager access please request link on the booking page

No horses/ponies may be left tied to the outside of trailers/lorries without supervision.
Please park sensibly, with respect for others, place muck in trailer provided or take it home & use rubbish bins provided
Photographic Rights
Competitors and their parents/guardians have given permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part in Pony Club events to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of the Pony Club and/or Official Sponsors of the Pony Club

A valid passport (registered on the Central Equine Database) and vaccination record:
• must accompany the horse / pony to all activities
• must be available for inspection by the event officials

Classes 3 5 6 & 7 are Qualifiers for the Barrier Animal Health Spring Festival, to be held at Addington Equestrian, Bucks on the 1st & 2nd of March 2025

Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards. Competitors who are not members of The Pony Club are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The Waveney Harriers Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non Members and their insurance will not cover you.
Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
