In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel 50% of your entry fee will be refunded, minus any Booking fees.

60cm (Tadpole), 80cm (Mini), 90cm (Junior) and 1m (Intermediate/Open) ride course will be on the grass XC course at Aylesford with slip rail and gate.
L options will be available and there is the option to ride down in height if required.
40cm (Beanie) course will be a shortened course within an enclosed area.

PLEASE NOTE THAT A CONDITION OF OUR USE OF MELTON MOWBRAY POOL IS THAT ALL COMPETITORS MUST BE ABLE TO SWIM 25 METRES UNAIDED

Team Manager contact details must be completed on all entries and please ensure correct gun share details (please speak to your branch/centre DC or Tet Team Manager if unsure).
For Pony Club entries you will need your membership number and Branch/Centre to enter.
Horse and rider changes or class changes before the closing date can be made online by logging into your Horse Events account and editing your entry under the ‘my booking’ tab.

Reasonable Adjustment Requests

Substitutions
After the closing date substitutions may only be made as per P.C. tetrathlon Rules 2024. Please email your changes after the closing date to nicola_platts@yahoo.co.uk
Withdrawals & Refunds
If a Branch or Centre withdraws a team or individual prior to the closing date for a competition, a full refund of entry and stabling fees will be made, less an administration charge. Withdrawals after the closing date for a competition will not be refunded. In the event of a competition being abandoned, for whatever reason, a refund of 50% of the entry fee will be given. In such an instance the refund process will be communicated and must be followed.
Tetrathlon: Individual Rosette 1st to 8th and Team 1st to 6th (subject to number of entries)
Triathlon: Individual Rosette 1st to 8th and Team 1st to 6th (subject to number of entries)
Prize for best run, swim and shoot in each class
Competitors not already in teams will be grouped into ad hoc teams but these will not be able to qualify in qualifying classes.
All beanies will receive a rosette
Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
The event will be run under Pony Club Tetrathlon Rules 2024 and it is the responsibility of the competitors to make sure that they understand and adhere to the rules.
Ages at 1st January 2024 and the competition is only open to Pony Club Branch and Centre members, Team managers – please tick to confirm the member is a fully paid up Pony Club member on the day of the competition
The organisers reserve the right to alter, amend or cancel any class.
No refunds will be made after the closing date, refunds prior to closing date will be entry fee less 40p.
Shooting
Guns must be brought to tables in their boxes and opened only on command of the firing point steward. They must be boxed again before the competitor leaves the firing point. Guns may only be carried by those over 18 years or under the supervision of a person over 21 years.
When not in use, guns must be stored in a secure place (ie, in a vehicle, out of sight). Any breach of safety rules may result in disqualification. Please ensure competitors are aware that footwear must not cover the ankle (ie, no boots) and anyone shooting must wear protective or prescription glasses.
Team managers – please tick the competency confirmation online with your entries
Gun shares and left/right handed shooter must be clearly identified on entry – no changes once times prepared. For gun shares of a club gun please use the reference Branch Name-01 etc for each member sharing the same gun.
Swimming
Please could team managers ensure all competitors are strong enough swimmers to complete at least one length of the pool (25m) confidently and no buoyance aids are allowed.
Please mark entry form if outside lane required, but be aware these may be limited.
All competitors wishing to dive from either the side of the pool or off the starting blocks must provide their ASA dive certificate, otherwise competitors will start from in the pool.

Photographic Rights – competitors and their parents/guardians have given permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part in Pony Club events to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of the Pony Club and/or Official Sponsors of the Pony Club.
A valid passport and vaccination record must accompany the horse/pony to this event and must be available for inspection if required by event officials. Vaccinations must be in accordance with the Pony Club Tetrathlon Rule Book 2024.
No muddy outdoor shoes to be worn in any of the buildings.
