Grove Hunt Pony Club are hosting the only Area 6 qualifier for the Barrier Animal Health Spring Festival Final

Saturday 4th January 2025 at the fabulous indoor facility at Arena UK Grantham NG32 2EF.

This class is to encourage our younger rider to come and take part in the Barrier Festival atmosphere. There are no qualifiers at this height. MAX Height 60cm. This is a confidence building class open to all pony club riders.

This class will be judged under BS Table A7 unless there is equality for qualifying places then a jump off will decide. If minor non qualifying places are needed, then time in the first round will decide.

Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes

No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel all entries will be refunded per class minus an admin fee of £3.00 (Booking fees are non refundable)

Entry fees for classes 1 to 6 is £18 plus £5 per combination paramedic fee.

If you are entering as part of a Pony Club Showjumping team, please enter your individual details, then select the option for team on the drop down menu and your pony club showjumping coordinator will allocate teams on your behalf.

TEAM COMPETITION

Branches may enter a team of 3 members in each section of the qualifying competition. The team members must compete in the same level of competition. The team must comprise of 3 members and all three scores count. Area and mixed teams will not be eligible to qualify for the championships.

Terms and Conditions

Conditions of entry

  1. The event will be run under the Pony Club Barrier Spring Festival Rules and the Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2025. Both rule books should be studied and are available to download from www.pcuk.org. The Current Pony Club Saddlery and Dress Rules apply. Please note the revised whip rules for 2025 ( to clarify the rules state that the whip may be used an MAXIMUM of 3 times after entering the arena) and the first rider fall is elimination. This competition requires annual equine flu boosters. See PC 2025 equine flu policy.
  2. No outside assistance is allowed.
  3. No entry accepted without fee. Entry fees will only be refunded for withdrawals made before the closing date.
  4. Entries will be LIMITED and taken on a FIRST come basis.
  5. If for any reason the competition is cancelled entry fees will be refunded less £3 to help cover unredeemable fees.
  6. The organisers reserve the right to amend the times of classes or cancel classes according to entries. If by close of entries there are less than 3 teams in a class, the class will run as an individual competition only. If less than 6 individual entries the class will not run except for the Area qualifiers. Entry fees will be refunded.
  7. Hats must be PC pink tagged according to the PC hat standard.
  8. Clear up droppings from around where you park and in the warm up. Do not feed hay on the outside of trailers/boxes. Horses left unattended must be secured inside their transport.
  9. A maximum of 8 competitors will be allowed in the indoor warm up.
  10. No competitor is allowed to compete until checked by the Tack Steward (this will include the eligibility of spur to be worn)
