Parents are not allowed to spectate, so we suggest that competitors are dropped off and parents return at the end of the competition for results (there are several garden centres / cafes etc within 2 miles of the venue).
Names of individual competitors may be changed up to the date of the competition through contacting the secretary, but there must be 3 in a team.
Please notify the secretary if any member has any reasonable adjustments in place. These should be submitted at least 2 weeks before the competition.
Results will be online at Pony Club results. The qualifying places will be awarded to the highest team scores overall in each class at the end of that class. If numbers permit, the class will be split into sections with a maximum of 10 teams per section. Branches / Centres entering multiple teams will be in the same section. Placing rosettes will be made to each section. A special award to one outstanding individual performance will be made in each class. Where the class has more than 10 entries the top 2 teams qualify: for 15 or more entries the top 3 teams qualify for the Pony Club Championships. Qualifying Teams attending the Championships may substitute two members of the original team if necessary.
Full details of the Horse and Pony Care Competition can be found in the 2025 Horsemanship Rulebook.
