Junior questions / practical tasks at this qualifier will be based on the Care section of the D, D+, C and C+ Efficiency Test cards and the Horsemanship Achievement Badges/

Senior questions / practical tasks will be based on the care section of the C+, B and AH Efficiency Test cards and the Advanced Achievement badges. Questions at AH Test level will be used sparingly as not all Branches/Centres will have AH Test level competitors.

Junior Team: Teams of 3 members whose ages are 14 years and under on the 1st January 2025, with one member to be 11 years or under on the 1st January 2025.
Senior Team: Teams of 3 members whose ages are under 25 years on the 1st January 2025. One member to be 16 years and under on the 1st January 2025. Of the remaining two team members, one may be between 21 and 24 on the 1st January 2025.
All team members and the team organiser must attend a briefing at the start of their class.
There will be up to 8 rounds in a class, with each round taking 10 minutes.

Parents are not allowed to spectate, so we suggest that competitors are dropped off and parents return at the end of the competition for results (there are several garden centres / cafes etc within 2 miles of the venue).
Names of individual competitors may be changed up to the date of the competition through contacting the secretary, but there must be 3 in a team.
Please notify the secretary if any member has any reasonable adjustments in place. These should be submitted 2 weeks before the competition.
Results will be online at Pony Club results.
The qualifying places will be awarded to the highest team scores overall in each class at the end of that class. If numbers permit, each class will be split into sections with a maximum of 10 teams per section. Branches / Centres entering multiple teams will be in the same section.
Placing rosettes will be made to each section. A special award to one outstanding individual performance will be made in each class.
Where a class has more than 10 entries the top 2 teams qualify: for 15 or more entries the top 3 teams qualify for the Pony Club Championships.
Qualifying Teams attending the Championships may substitute two members of the original team if necessary.
