Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes

Withdrawal Date: 14/06/2025


No Refunds after the withdrawal date. Before this date full refunds to be given. After the closing date refunds will only be given if a doctors or vets certificate is produced no later than 24 hours after the event.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel 50% of your entry fee will be refunded, minus any Booking fees.

On site Facilities

Refreshments provided by: Photographer Holdens Catering, First Aid in attendance Vet & Farrier on call No mucking out of lorries or trailers in the lorry park and please take ALL dropping, hay and rubbish home with you. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and only walked round in the parking area. We are very grateful for the support of some wonderful local organisations who have generously provided us with extra sponsorship to enable us to run this competition. If you get the opportunity to return the favour, you can enjoy their excellent services!

Substitutions • After the closing date substitutions may only be made as per Rule 36 of The Pony Club Dressage Rules 205. There will be an administration fee of £5.00 • Please email your changes after the closing date to: www.horse-events.co.uk

Prizes & Prize Giving

Individual Rosettes per arena 1st – 10th

Team Rosettes 1st – 6th

PRIZE GIVING: Prize giving times will be announced on the day.

• All prize winners must be correctly dressed in their competition clothes.

• District Commissioners, their Representative on the day or Team Trainers shall be given the Judges’ sheets on the completion of the contest when the Judges have sanctioned their distribution and all scores have been published.

• Results will be posted on www.ponyclubresults.co.uk

Rules
  • This competition will be run in accordance with The Pony Club Dressage Rules 2025
  • It is the responsibility for each individual/Pony Club to ensure these are adhered to both when entering the competition and on the day with particular attention paid to:
  • Eligibility of entries both of horse and rider
    • Preliminary PC70 Dressage Test is for riders aged 13 years and under on 1st January 2025. Riders are not eligible to enter if they have completed a Novice Area level or above summer competition in Dressage or Eventing in the current year or have done so in previous years, completed above Prelim level with British Dressage (or DI) or at BD Novice Team / My Quest or been placed 1st – 4thon more than two occasions at a previous Preliminary PC70 Regional Championships.
    • Preliminary PC70 plus is solely for individuals – there is no team competition. Members must be aged 14 and over on 1st January of current year. Riders are not eligible is they have completed a Novice Area level or above summer competition in Dressage or Eventing in the current year or have done so in previous years.  Completed above Prelim level with British Dressage (or DI) or at BD Novice Team/My Quest, or been placed 1st – 4th on more than two occasions at a previous Preliminary PC70 Regional Championships.
    • Grassroots PC80 Dressage Test:

the combination of horse and rider are not eligible if they have completed an Intermediate Area level or above summer competition in Dressage or Eventing in the current year or have done so in previous years, completed above Prelim level with British Dressage (or DI) at BD Novice Team / My Quest or been placed 1st-4th in the ride-off at previous Grassroots PC80 Regional Dressage Championships.

    • Novice Dressage Test:

the combination of horse and rider are not eligible if they have completed an Open Area Level or above summer competition in Dressage in the current year or have done so in previous years, won any BD (or DI) points (BD Preliminary points do not count for the purposes of this rule), completed at BD (or DI) Elementary level or above (BD Team/My Quest competitions do not count for the purposes or this rule), competed in BD Novice Music classes.

    • Intermediate Dressage Test:

The combination of horse and rider are not eligible if they have won any British Dressage (or Dressage Ireland) points at Elementary level or above, completed at BD (or DI) Medium level or above (BD Team/My Quest competitions do not count for the purposes of this rule)

  • Ensuring riders are wearing the correct dress especially with regards to hat tagging
  • Spurs – may not be worn by a Pony Club member at a Pony Club activity or event unless that member has passes either the Pony Club C+ Riding Test or the Pony Club Spurs Test.
  • Ensuring horses have the correct tack
  • Competitors must present themselves for tack check at least 30 minutes before competition time
  • Please Print your own Paper Number 
  • Protests/Objections:  Only the DC or their appointed representative are entitled to lodge protests/objections. Please refer to Rule 50 for detailed instructions including the requirement of a deposit of £50
  • Photographic Rights – competitors and their parents/guardians have given permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part in Pony Club events to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of the Pony Club and/or Official Sponsors of the Pony Club

A valid passport and vaccination record must accompany the horse/pony to this event and must be available for inspection if required by event officials. Entries are only accepted on this basis.

Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
