Stabling & Additional add ons

STABLING

    • Day Stables are available to book for pony club shows via dedicated event links which can be found on the events tab of the Bury Farm website, www.buryfarmequestrianvillage.co.uk
    • Any horse or pony which uses a Bury Farm stable must be deemed fit and healthy, and must be fully vaccinated. Bury Farm operates a 12-month vaccination policy
    • Bury Farm will keep stabling open until the Thursday lunchtime prior to a Saturday show, and the Friday lunchtime prior to a Sunday show. Any stable bookings after this time will need to be managed directly by the pony club organisers
    • Bury Farm will supply a list of stable allocations for both free helper and paid-for day stables to the pony club organiser via email on the Thursday afternoon prior to a Saturday show, or a Friday afternoon prior to a Sunday show
    • It is the pony club’s responsibility to ensure that these allocations are adhered to at the show. A member of the pony club should be nominated as the ‘go-to’ person to provide directions on where to go for stables, and to check that the allocations do not differ from those provided by Bury Farm prior to the event. Organisers are also encouraged to do spot checks on passports to adhere with Bury Farm’s biosecurity policies.
    • All stables, must be left clean and dry with banks forked to the sides upon departure. A muck-out fee of £15 will be charged for any competitor who does not leave stables in a suitable condition upon departure. This fee will revert to the pony club if there is any dispute on which competitor used a stable, and so it is important that the pony club organiser is confident of which stables have been used by whom at the show.
