Refund, Withdrawals & Entry Changes

Withdrawal Date: 14/07/2024


No Refunds after the withdrawal date for whatever reason. Before this date full refunds to be given.

In the unfortunate situation of the event having to cancel 50% of your entry fee will be refunded, minus any Booking fees.

After the closing date please contact the event Organiser area1@pcuk.org to make any changes

Before the closing date please login to your Horse Events Account and cancel your entry. If a refund is due this will be processed automatically. To withdraw after the closing date please contact the event Organiser area1@pcuk.org

Entry information

All competitions are open to current members of Centres and Branches in Area 1.

Members wishing to compete in any of these competitions should read Section 4 of the Pony Club Dressage

Rule Book 2024 which sets out the eligibility criteria for each of the relevant competitions.

Individuals and teams who qualify in the Open, Intermediate and Novice competitions will qualify to compete in the National Championships to be held at Offchurch Bury, Warwickshire, from the 9th to 17th August.

Individuals and teams who qualify in the PC80 and PC70 competitions will qualify to compete in the Northern Regional Dressage Championships to be held at Auchlishie Eventing, Kirriemuir, on Saturday August 3rd 2024.

Competitors must comply with the provisions of Section 20 of the Pony Club Dressage Rule Book 2024 with regard to dress and in particular the requirements for riding hats and body protectors.

Entry information

Members require to be nominated by their Centre Proprietor or Branch DC to compete in these competitions

either as an individual or team member.

Entries to be made on the Horse Events website – https://www.horse-events.co.uk

Closing Date for entries is Sunday 14th July. No late entries will be accepted.

Withdrawals and substitutions prior to the Closing Date can be made on Horse Events.

No Withdrawals or Substitutions will be accepted after the Closing Date.

The competitions will be held under Pony Club Dressage Rules 2024.

Times & Number template

Start times will be posted on the Area 1 website and also on the Pony Club Results website from Wednesday 17th July (evening).

All competitors must provide their own number bib and printed competitor number. The number must be printed using a large font and be clearly legible to judges and stewards.

Numbers can be printed from the Pony Club Results website. Click on your name in the relevant competition section.

Prizes & Prize Giving

Rosettes will be awarded for 1st – 6th in each class.

Prize Givings will be unmounted and correct riding attire should be worn.

Vaccination Policy

Horse vaccinations should comply with the current Pony Club vaccination rules applying at the time of the

competition.

Random passport checks may be carried out

Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards.

Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
